how do your eyes see time?
anything with more than 3 unique, independent variables can be represented with more than 3 dimensions. that's all the formalism is. consider minor perturbances in the em field of the earth as we traverse about the galaxy and with it thru intergalactic regions. our orientation is constantly changing causing measurable field disturbances, but with only considering 3 changing variables we can't precisely model the change.
the idea of a 4d cube is not divorced from reality, u can see the multiplicitous nature of a cube in the op. many shapes with different sides and angles and relationships all give the same volume when considered together with their duals. we simply use additional dimensions to model additional Flux, and formalisms, like the hypercube come from academic investigation of the n dimensional space of itself, and what relationships quantities have with themselves in some set field of operations

How long would it take a probe to reach the Alpha Centauri system from Earth?

Would communications at that distance be feasible? It would take years to send and receive data, but could a probe still observe things in that system and send information back to Earth a few years later?

Despite a history of massive disturbances in Jupiter's atmosphere, the Great Red Spot has been observed for almost 350 years now. In this constantly changing environment, the GRS has maintained distinct and recognizable properties and traits.

These storms on Jupiter's surface not just a random occurrences. They are self-sustaining, animate processes. They adapts to the environment. They respond to their surroundings. And they reproduce, as well.

Therefore, I propose that these storms aren't just simple weather systems. They are autonomous entities with an unrecognized version of heredity, akin to cellular life. Even if they aren't "alive", we need to study them with the concepts of natural selection and evolution in mind.

FTL travel confuses me. Can you guys explain if these things are correct or not?

Let's say you're on a planet that's 10 light years from a star. You watch the star go supernova. It's a pretty fast supernova, it only takes a few days. If during the middle of the supernova, you travel away from the star, you can still see the supernova happening, but at a slower rate. If you travel at the speed of light away from the supernova, nothing appears to be happening (or do you see nothing, because the photons from it have already been absorbed by your eyes?). If you travel faster than the speed of light, you "catch up" with photons, and can see the supernova happen in reverse. Is this what is meant by FTL travel allowing time travel?

You're standing on Earth, a friend is standing on Neptune (he has gloves). If you get in a rocket and travel towards your friend at faster than the speed of light, as you get closer, light will bounce off you and go towards your friend, but you'll overtake that reflected light. So you would arrive before he has seen you. Once you get to him, you stop, and he sees you as normal. Then he looks at where you came from, and sees you going backwards in your ship to Earth (because the reflected light has just reached him), whilst you're next to him.
