im not very good at math but im not the worst. but anyways, recently ive become frustrated with spacetime and traveling near the speed of light. i have become comfortable with the concept of spacetime and space. but i do not understand time. not clocks and shit but like actual time. can anyone explain it in a more simple way? i know its not a simple topic but all papers i read and videos i watch seem to kinda graze over it or assume the watcher knows it. i really do not know where to even start with it and i would like to learn. thank you

Guys, 35 ACT here with low GPA and no notable extra curriculars throughout HS; Can I attend a community college for 2 years, do some volunteer work, and transfer to an elite school? Or am I doomed? Does it even matter?

woke up 5 hours ago and still done 0 work

I regularly waste ENTIRE DAYS doing nothing but browsing 4chan, forums, reading manga, watching youtube, listening to music, and watching porn. I'm taking courses this summer and this past week I didn't go to lectures, did next to ZERO studying, and i'm two weeks behind on my homework. I think every morning "oh i'm gonna get so much work done i bet if i studied the entire day i'd catch up on everything" which i am capable of because I do that after every "off period", but everyday during my off period i just waste time and before i know it the entire FUCKING DAY is over.

After being a week or two behind on work and not attending lectures, i crammed the entire night before and i still got a 100% on my first midterm a couple of weeks ago, which made me think "wow why the fuck don't i study more i'm going to study more immediately" but guess what here i am in the exact same fucking cycle. I've ALWAYS been like this, but just recently have i realized this needed to end

Just now I FINALLY spent 80 minutes working and got some fucking work started after more than a week of doing nothing. HELP ME HOW DO I FIX THIS WHY AM I LIKE THIS

This major is god awful. I have a decently high GPA (3.84) but I still can't believe I fell for the memes on here. No jobs, absolute shit boring classes compared to EE, don't actually build anything so I'm barely an "engineer", and the research and projects aren't the slightest bit interesting, either. Oh, and did I mention: NO FUCKING JOBS OR INTERNSHIPS ANYWHERE.

I can't switch my major anymore. I'm honestly considering dropping out and working in a trade. Please, I beg you chemical engineering undergrads in your 1st and 2nd years to reconsider.
