So I often hear that man began in Africa, then migrated to other parts of the globe.

My question is, why Africa? What about the African continent is so special that scientists believe mankind must have began there and not on some other continent like South America or any other for that matter?

Could the Cure for AIDS be in Africa?

AIDS has been around the world for a while but in Africa the longest. In fact the most people on the Earth with the disease reside in Africa. Now because of this I was wondering if the Cure for the disease reside in Africa.

Heres my logic. Africans have been dealing with the disease from the very beginning, their immune systems have been ravaged to the point where a few of these people must have developed some sort of Evolutionary Immunity.

The same can be seen for a lot of diseases so I don't see why it couldn't be like this for AIDS.
