The actual dividing line between hard and soft science is rigor that comes from mathematical modelling. This why typically we think of physics and chem as hard science. But it need not be that bio is soft. Sadly as it stands most bio journals read like diary entries about the new flavor of ice cream the author tried that day but these faggots will soon be obsolete. Even the liberal arts major who took my order of fries can do their jobs, just expose x organism to y substance or something, observe and write about it. They may bitch about how biological systems are complex to excuse their sloppy methodology but really it just highlights how retarded they are. The more complex the system the more it needs to be modeled and simulated so that we can begin to understand its workings.

I'll bite. If STEM is so easy and pays better why didn't she do it?
