How to get a college education knowledge at home?

I already have a university degree, but I would like to study on my own a different field, for pleasure. What I specifically want to do is download the full bibliography for the entire years length course (in my case biology) from some prestigious university and read it at my pace.

Any reliable way to do this people are already aware of?

Also, how do you guys stay in touch with advancements in your field if you are not pursuing that field anymore? I find that furthering your education outside universities is almost impossible, finding content on the internet is not easy, people don't share things outside of academia.
