Sup /sci/.

I wanted to ask what you all know about senescence and the prospect of biological immortality. Do you think it can be done?

More importantly, do you think that people alive today will be able to achieve immortality? Hopefully we can at least EXTEND our lives long enough until the technology comes around.

You are now aware that this mans beard will cure aging. Are you prepared to live for 100's of years? (I only say 100's because 1000's seems like too much and I'm not sure any human alive today could psychologically handle that)

I think I'd only want to live for a few hundred years, provided all/most of the right social structures are torn down and replaced. But then, if life as we know it changes, maybe living hundreds to thousands of years would be pretty sweet.
