This is something I've been curious about for almost a year.
I turned 21 almost a year ago so my Mom got me a bunch of little alcohol tasters. Hated every single thing in there except for the whisky.
Neither of my parents like whisky but they did tell me that both of my biological grandfathers can't get enough of whisky.
This got me to thinking if it's possible that the type of alcohol you like is determined by genetics. Genetics are 50% responsible for the development of alcoholism.
Haven't found any answers besides genetics relating to alcoholism.

How true are these statements?, can a guy who clearly isn't good at numbers be an engineer, mathematician, physicist???

Is there even a known example of a person who used to struggle in physics and is now a renowned physicist? and the same with mathematics, etc.

If Native Americans were originally from somewhere near Siberia/China and crossed the Bering Strait aprox. 11,000 years ago into the Americas, considering that East Asians have in average high IQ and Native American's ancestors were East Asians, why weren't/aren't Native Americans smart as fuck? And what about those Native Americans that mixed with Europeans (which have high IQ as well)
