I say "Things should be done a certain way." Other people say, "Yeah, but we do things this way." I don't like that, so I stab them. It's the honorable thing to do. Here's the gist of it, OP;
You are a complete and utter tool. You want to break and destroy things. But at the same time, you want to feel justified in doing so.

You are a total weenie. The only reason you want war is because if you see other people breaking and destroying things, then at least you'll feel justified in doing the same thing. The reason you're upset is because few people but yourself feel the same way, and you feel like an outcast because it.

My solution?

Embrace your ideals in a peaceful manner. Go out and build yourself a log cabin in the woods somewhere and live there for a year. By doing this, you will:
1) Prove your life is worth living
2) Prove your life is worth fighting for
3) Create something that is truly your own
4) Abandon your need for material goods
4) Escape from the expectations of others

I'm entirely serious by the way. Camping/building/disposing of material things. Anything along these lines. If these things to put some hair on your chest, I don't know what will.

there are 2 days left for me to complete my course work (something like a whole year's assignment) and I have nothing. although I study philosophy, I choose to do this work in psychoanalysis.

the title of my course work is "Making of man. psychoanalitical and gender study aspects". basicly, the idea is to examine Freud's views on psychosexual development with emphasis on male development and to comper his views with leading opinions of today.

Freud's works I'm going to use:

Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality
The Dissolution of the Oedipus Complex
Some Psychical Consequences of the Anatomical Distinction between the Sexes
Female Sexuality
A Special Type of Choice of Object made by Man

the problem is I don't really know with what should I compare Freud's views. What are some leading thinkers of psychosexual development today? I've heard something about boyhood studies, but it's preaty damn hard to find some usable texts in this field.

So any tips or suggestions? any help would be much appreciated.

Pretending that one picture like that is a global proof for the beliefs of all women in the world is stupid, especially since you seem to take into account that the guys is a very specific type of guy.

What this picture really show us is the problem between following social influence and trying to get away from it.

The guy seem to be the typical geek bordering nerd who understand what is wrong with society but not how to deal with it (since he is passively waiting for her to change)
And the girl who is shown to have an high intellect still can't understand the power of the social influence that push her to make it sound like the guy is in fault.

Basically she is being intelligently mean to him because that way she feel superior and integrated in the society.
Him on the other hand seem to be incapable of dealing with reality but have a higher level of self-control over his own decision. which isn't a lot when you have 70% of the population pleased to tell you how much you suck in comparison of them.

My personal tip in this situation : Don't waste your time with a girl whose opinion is too far away from your.
And intelligence don't equal to common sense.
