wouldnt even be that tough to find a surgeon either, a brief google search gives you links to experiments in extra organs and if sign away the rights for the surgeon to do extra tests/write about you, then you could probably even get a surgeon outside official experimentation.

Hi /sci/. I'm not sure if this is the right board. I wouldn't like to bother you and will delete the thread if this is not appropriate.

I find the idea of making prosthetic organs very appealing. The way to get there would be to study biomechanics, or biomechathronics or something like that, but at least in my country they are doctorates or master's degrees, not basic degrees, and I'm not sure what would be the best way to access them. Health studies, or more technical ones like electric engineering, mechanical engineering, etc?
