So this is really non fucking linear right?

<span class="math">g_{n} = f_{2n}[\math]

Because my book says it is linear, but it must be wrong somehow.

Like for example, say f[n] is {2, 4, 8, 1, 0, 6, 7, 7, 2}

Take f[1]: f[2*1] = f[2] = 4
Now take f[2]: f[2*2] = f[4] = 1

Finally take f[1+2] = f[3]: f[2*3] = f[6] = 6

4+1 != 6

So it's not linear.[/spoiler]

Info bump.

*bonus; is this a /sci/ topic? Will OP be b&? Or will /sci/ allow this discussion of fallacies/logic/philosophy?

So we have examples for : Strawman , false cause, slippery slope, ad hominem, bandwagon, begging the question ,composition/Division, the fallacy fallacy , tu quoque , burden of proof and ambiguity

I'm really proud /sci/

It's unprovable spiritualism that doesn't exist and belongs to /x/
But because spiritualism is unprovable and doesn't exist, it also belongs to /x/ and can't be a trait applied to consciousness.
And because unprovable concepts are unprovable concepts which are unprovable concepts which also is unprovable concepts, we'll be stuck here slinging cheap argument tricks at each other and degrading /sci/ for another 200 posts.

Pic related. The only infograph you need to be sucessful at /sci/

While I agree that philosophy is a great thing to understand and be well versed in, I doubt that it will be useful on a resume

Is an economics or finance degree as much of an anathema as liberal arts on this board? I'm thinking of changing my major.

So /sci/, I've seen alot of people post their IQ scores on 4chan.
I've never taken one, but I honestly think mine would be above average.
However, I have been thinking about it, and I've realized the only reason for finding my IQ results would be for self affirmation. I've realized I don't need someone else to tell me I'm intelligent.

My question is, is there any legitimate reason to find out what your IQ is?
