>ADHD is real
What do you mean, exactly?
Is it a diagnosis doctors give out? Yes.
Other than that it’s just a set of behaviors observations put in a cluster.

ADHD, although some shills would like you to believe differently, is a relatively recent diagnosis.

The „cure“ of psychostimulants is only a short-term relief and in the long-term makes things worse.
Also: Do you really believe exactly the kind of medication previously sold for all kinds of other shit, including depression and dieting, somehow does exactly the thing your brain can’t on it’s own? Alexander Shulgin discovered HUNDREDS of phenethylamines and many of them would probably be a better fix but the marketing and the supply chains are already set up.

Diagnosing children with ADHD is also fucking stupid. They still have very high neuroplasticity and making them believe they‘re faulty is certainly much worse then proper behavioral interventions. It would probably be safer and more effective to put the damn parents on stims.

I‘m not saying medication can’t be useful as a short-term intervention. To get above the fog enough to get your affairs into order and develop healthy coping skills.
But, as someone who is currently on Methylphenidate, they will mess you up in the long term.

There is also this weird cross between Assburgers, ADHD, and high IQ in males that needs to be researched more.
They overlap pretty significantly. Especially when it comes to boredom, inability to follow orders/instructions, openness to sense information and ideas.

I‘m pretty sure I, who is diagnosed with ADHD, am just emotionally underdeveloped because I was smart and sheltered and never really had to put in effort into most things I tried. I’m also just very curious and get lost in the overflow of information easily.

The „hyperactivity“ of the body is the kind trying to Anker itself in the physical reality because the thoughts seem more interesting than the outside.
