Hey guys and girls. I'm doing a short presentation in my school's information security course, and I picked my topic to be uses of quantum entanglement in cryptography.

What I'm missing is a decent demonstration how QE would work in practice, as this concept is going way above my head for the time being.

My plans were to use playing cards and envelopes for the example, where cards represent the QE particle (cut king of spades in half, you know it's that card even if you see just half of it) and envelopes are the message itself, or something along that.

How would a quantum entanglement communicator or cryptography key work?

I was reading this and I went, oh shit, increased dopamine levels?, I have that, really high levels, I see hallucinations a lot. I am anti-social, good with art, but the things that don't match are I get more attention from women then I want, meaning a lot, and I only used to be jealous of people, now I'm not at all anymore. Should I get checked out? I've been around cats my entire life, from sense I was 1 on up to 21 now.

>One such syndrome, known as cri du chat ("cry of the cat"), results from a specific deletion in chromosome 5. A child born with this deletion...has a cry that sounds like the mewing of a distressed cat.

Wait. So this syndrome was named because the baby cries like a cat. But crying cats sound like babies.

Hey /sci/, lately I was flipping this thought:
Why do people find (many/most) animals cute (dogs/cats/hamsters/turtles)? The recent dusty the cat incident caused an outrage over the internet and made me think about it.

Can it possibly be because cute animals resemble human babies? Or are humans meant to tame/care for animals from an evolutionary standpoint?
