How do I cope with having constant self aggrandizing fantasies?

I'm a med school student, I can barely be assed to learn the material yet I have countless fantasies about being a polymaths in both art and science. It will never happen because I'm just moderately creative and I don't have the intelect nor the work ethic to do so.
