Hey /sci/ I had a pretty basic question pertaining to relativity. In understanding the twin paradox (or explaining it to someone else), would it be correct to say that time and space are related in such a way that as you increase the rate at which you move through space you have to decrease the rate at which time passes?

How does this idea relate to e=mc^2 at all? I'm a little lost in all this.
