Why are there more women in college? I understand that there are still more men in technical degrees, but that doesn't answer the question. Is it because you need to have a certain level of intelligence to finish a technical degree, and the less-intelligent but sensible males decided college wasn't worth it if you were getting a worthless degree? Or is it because women are more susceptible to socialization, so that if someone tells them "education is important!" they're more likely to care about it?
