Depression is an umbrella term for underlying causes which are incorrectly lumped together. One type is due to malnutrition and gut flora issues, another is due to toxic load and neuroinflammation, the last is due to psychological factors and life conditions where you probably SHOULD feel depressed. They are all heavily interconnected but nonetheless discrete.
