because 5 IS its smallest base, because primes can't be any more compactified, fractional bases can't be computer logic as fractions already require computation.

It can also be that not all bases are turing complete but I'm only guessing maybe someone else knows that.

base 3 is the most economic integer base, a very interesting fact in my opinion.

binary logic as the computing logic of choice should be seriously questioned imho.

why we're not applying ternary logic to more programs besides telecommunication is beyond me. At times it seems like people have been brainwashed by binary logic, accepting a dualistic reality when such does not exist.
