Living forever is an impossibility. Heat death of the universe and all.

Aubrey de Grey himself said that biological immortality in the way of curing aging and all other diseases still doesn't prevent you from being killed in a micro-meteoroid impact on your O'Neill cylinder colony in 2464AD. So really, it is having a longer, yet finite life.

And dude, you must understand that not everyone has your definition of why life is important. You find life important because of how short it is. I find life important for every experience that adds on, year after year.
>Eventually every joy will be had, every hard problem solved
Commit suicide.

If all bodes well, I hope to one day ring up Mr. Zubrin from my expansive undersea mansion and ask,
'I hear you have a relatively cheap Mars plan. I'd like to get it started immediately.'

If I was using technological augmentation I would assume it would increase my lifespan.
But in the completely hypothetical sense, then I would say to that person to take it down a notch so he can have way more years in the future to use the technological advancements and upgrades of that era to upgrade himself.

It will initially be a mixture, of small genetic enhancements such as increased sensitivity in low light conditions for better night vision, increasing hearing, CO2 tolerance (Yes, I've been reading Blue Mars)
However I expect there will be the tipping point where robotic bodies will be indistinguishable from normal/biologically augmented bodies and will have so many upsides that it will dominate.
And of course, furries everywhere. Ugh.
