OP listen to me carefully: I think you might actually have Autism, and I don't mean that in a pejorative way.

Because yes, many of the things that we use in our everyday lives are designed by engineers who apply the discoveries that scientists and mathematicians make. The reason why there is "hate" for engineers on /sci/ is because its part of the banter where every STEM major acts like elitist assholes that are better than other STEM majors; mathematicians being better than physicists, engineering being gay, biology not being a real science.

This is what many social ciricles often refer to as"joking around," hopefully that clears things up.
