I have an engineering master in physics and I can barely read. And I certainly can't read "classical literature". Even graduate math was too hard for me, which is why I went down the experimental physics (read: monkey with fancy instruments and statistics programs) path.

Like Lex Luthor here I don't have a degree from MIT, but even if I was clever and rich enough to get one and so got it; I am quite certain I would not be equipped with the analytical skills to understand what the fuck Hegel was writing about inbetween creeping on maids and doom-drinking wine..

Yet, I don't really care. I'm a bit of a pragmatist and so I hold that if Hegel wrote anything useful, that might save us from being filtered by the universe, I am quite sure we (the west) would have found it already.
