Flu dosen't kill nowhere as many people as covid.
Look at the chart. Look at the massive excess mortality in 2020-2021 and then compare it to the blip on the left end of the chart.
The amounts that covid killed was far more than the the flu did during the especially bad flu season of 2017 - 2018.

The lockdowns were retarded from an epidemiological and cost/benefits point of view, that being said it's still absurd to compare covid to the common flu. I mean yes, technically it's a superchared flu but it killed orders of magnitude more people than the flu kills annually.
