Usually bland with lots of mandatory group projects. The software engineering courses are usually open to computer science students as well, except the CS students have more course flexibility than SENG. Only do software engineering if you need engineering accreditation or they offer a combined program with some other engineering discipline.
In practice software engineering has less to do with what you learn at school then how you conduct yourself in industry. But I imagine it is the same with most engineering disciplines. See,
