hey /sci, I'm just wanting to know yo hypothesis on how far we are from Ghost in the shell level bionics?

I watched this back when I was like 13, and I couldn't believe how awesome it was. But now that I think of it again(and it's still awesome), I've started to seriously ponder whether or not we will have this level of technology in the next 100 years. I'm not expert in cybernetics though, so I can't really comment much on the fusion of human and bionics.

I think this will be the next stage of evolution. If you think about it, the results you could achieve would be limitless. You could upload vast caches of information, instructional data for martial arts, complex arithmetic skills; downloadable calculators awesome. Instant solutions to hard mathematical questions? The precision of a computer but the mental abilities of a human brain?

People love machines in 2029AD? Hopefully.
