With respect to itself, naturally.

Are you fucking retarded? The double-slit experiment is done with photons, not electrons. WTF are you talking about?

I can tell you how to directly derive that number, if you want? Using the current theortical model. Will that do?

The model (basically GR) is the standard we use.

Sup /sci/

I've got a theory in physics that I'd like to unleash upon the internet for some "open source" type stuff

Is there anything on the internet that's purpose is this?

atm I started a blog on wordpress so people could comment if they wanted, but perhaps something more along the lines of a forum/blog hybrid would work better?

Nope. Sorry bro.

Think about it a little more and it should make sense to you. "The shadow" and "the beam" are not physical objects, they arent even quanatum mechincal objects. They are an "effect" that arises, they are a "statistical behavior".

While the indiviauls photon cannot travel faster then c, "the spot or the shadow" can. As they are travsverse to the photons flight path. Sweeping the spot of shadow doenst result in any single photon going faster then c. You can do the calculation in euclidean (Netwon), minokowsi (Special relativity) or even schwarzschild space (general relativity), and you can get speeds faster the light.

Additionally, I woudl add that the standard model is really 2 seperate models, The electroweak, and the chromatic. Supersymmetery is a propsed theory that links the two, giving a truly unified 3 force model.

In addition the elementary rules of thermodyanics only apply to systems where you can define a temperature. (There are tons of physics systems with no such notion).

The 4 diodes are what we call a bridge rectifier. It allows us to convert and incoming AC signal to DC singal. (Adding capacitors and Resistors, will smooth out the DC)

This article explains it very well.

Magnets work, because of photons. It is not my fucking fault you don't like the answer, or it doens't make sense to you.

If you phrase your question in a more specific manner I can elaborate, otherwise you can fuck off.

>could you still disprove the existence of all things supernatural/divine/spiritual?

You can prove that to "believe in that nonsense" is a flawed belief.

>the total belief that nothing "supernatural" at all can exist is also a flawed belief

Wrong
Look, if you are really interested in that meaningless shit, you need to take a basic college level logic course or phil course. You will then be shown step by step, how fucking stupid you sound and why such beliefs are nonsense.

I am not debating trivial shit (the belief in imaginary friends) with you. Educate yourself.

Heisenberg you're a dickless piece of shit and you know it. If I would have come out and said "gravity occurs where it is most likely to" I would have had the same goddamn argument as you. Best of luck to you with that probability bullshit, but I guess you've had plenty already. GTFO

The Basics:

Quantum Chromodynamics is the study of the the "color force", the primary force in quarks-quarks ineractions.

The actual "force carrier" or "interaction particle" for the "color" force is the gluon.....ie....quarks interact through gluons.

The math that descibes the interactions is group theory, the group is called SU(3) (special unitary group of three dimensions). The neat thing about the color force, is that it also allows gluon-gluon interactions (as opposed to SU(2) with descirbes the electroweak force, which doenst allow for photon-photon interactions).

The fact that gluons interact with eacth other leads to another important property, "confinment". "Confinment" is the fact that you cannot isolate quarks or gluons.

Any more specific question?

Not sure what you are even arguing over anymore

I just want to point out that WE NEVER OBSERVE SUPERPOSTION OF STATES!
WE NEVER SEE THINGS EXISTSING IN TWO STATES AT ONCE.

Mathemtically we do calcualtion with suposition of states all the time, but phycislaly as soon as we make the any kind of observation WE ONLY HAVE ONE STATE. WE ONLY EVER OBSERVE ONE STATE. SUPERPOSITION OF STATES IS JUST A MATHEMATICAL TOOL.

The fucked up part is that we will never really know if things actually exist in nature as superpoositions, cause any observation whatso ever would destory the superposition

Good question,

Ok, so EM + Weak are supposed to be unified into the Electroweak. But there are tons of probelms with this, and it ends up looking just like a change of basis rather then an actual unifications (but thats another story).

So, at some energy the EM and Weak forces become one. Back when the universe was hotter, they were one, then they split in two. Some werid shit happened during the split that we are trying to figure out. Of key importance if why the "force" particles have differnt masses. The Higgs is supposed to help explain why the Photon got no mass while the W,Z became massive. Basically how things can aquire mass in this way.

LMAO, string theory is not science. It has made no verifiable predictions. It is just fancy math.

String theory is not taught in too many places (maybe 1/1000 physics/math departments ), it is only an elective if anything, and it is never part of any standard physics degree plans (not even Phds).

So it doenst matter what string thoery says, its just fancy math, which so far has no connection to reality.
