Don’t see why not. However MECO velocity is a huge issue. Falcon 9 MECO is at like 2.3 km/s max, and F9S2 has a high TWR. Ariane V/6’s velocity at MECO is like 5.5 km/s, and it’s upper stage has 1/8 the thrust of F9’s. Not every rocket works with Falcon 9 style reusability. That’s why Vulcan shits it’s engines out instead of landing on a boat.

Luckily ESA seems to have learned from their mistake and is planning on making a reusable vehicle for their Ariane 7 project
