All non-engineers bow down and hail

So this is for those of you who were originally majoring in engineering and then changed.

Why did you do it? Was it because everyone around you was lazy as fuck and half-assed everything? I'm seeing this trend in even the 'harder' branch of engineering (EE) and not liking it. They butcher everything from mathematics to physics and their work 'ethic' is nonexistent which reflects on their students.

Those of you who are seniors or have been around long enough to hit the upper level classes: do things get better? I'm currently a junior (technically a senior). in the 4000 level classes not seeing much of a difference. Really miss my pure physics classes.

How is an average engineering student supposed to find work when there are 40 applicants for every job? What can i do to make myself stand out if thats even possible..

What does /sci/ think.

An engineer solved the biggest mystery in the world.

Several reasons. Engineers exclusively use applied math with little to no understanding of it, which drives pure mathematicians nuts. They also typically make more money and there are more jobs available for them than for people with comparable math/science degrees. Most importantly, they really do suck cocks. In fact, three of them sucked me off in the back of a lecture hall just last week.

Dont mean to spoil the fun, fractal patterns are all engineering-like and all, but balls ARE touching...

According to common knowledge a conclusion of faggotry would not be unjustified...

Describe to me the typical week of an engineer. Do not include banging another man.

What is up with engineering professors? Even if the school is based on 'weeding out' the professors mark incredibly hard compared to other faculty. For example: I blanked out on many final exams in math or physics departments and still got B's in the course; but on almost every engineering exam where I wrote good, I still get a B. If I write bad, I'll get a C or a D.

Is your university like this?

Engineering overpowers science because engineers know how to make something useful.

hi /sci/

I'm asking for help. What are the most interesting disciplines of engineering and which universities offer these faculties. Thank you.

What is the broadest engineering discipline?

I'm interested in Electrical....but Civil and Mechanical look like they cover more subjects..

thoughts?

if Physics and Mathematics is so much more complicated than Engineering...how come a B.S. in Engineering will get you a job and Physics/Mathematics won't?

I ask because I'm going for a B.S. in Physics this fall.
