Well too fucking bad. As a hiring manager, I need the assurance that I can have you interact with the customer and not sperg the fuck out and lose me business.

Goddamn, you fucking guys do NOT appreciate the professional level at which you are trying to operate. You might have to talk to people who's first language isn't english, you might have to travel more than 30 miles away from your mom and dads house to get a job, you might be required to travel internationally for extended periods of time, you might have to do the job of a businessman/accountant, you might get fuckin' sued and have to stand up for yourself in a court of law. People are going to look at you and take your opinion as the gospel and then hang you out to dry if you are wrong. Take a step back and realize that what you are doing, or what you are attempting to do, is kind of a big deal.

>b-but i just want to be a basement wizard and do repetitive autistic shit all day

You don't need an engineering degree for that.

so its like i tell you fags all the time, calculus is one fucking idea wrapped up in some high speed trig and algebra. if you are bad at calc its because you are bad at algebra and trig. you half assed your way through your real algebra and trig classes and didn't actually master the material so know when really obvious shit shows up and your professor expects you to keep up, you are asking "where'd that go?" when he's busting out quick derivations.

pay attention in high school kids. maybe even knock the dust off them books before classes start next semester. or fuck off and end up like OP.

>Right, because it's realistic to expect that every 18-21 year old confused about their life should sign away four years of their very limited existences just to take it up the ass from Uncle Sam.

yeah, it is. many countries still have compulsory service and have nowhere near the benefits package the US military has.

and you missed my point. why should 4 years of you "finding yourself" be paid for by the public? you can do that shit for free while working some wage slave gig like everybody else. i suggested the military as an option because its actually a good place to fuck off for 4 years. you also completely ignored the fact that a nice car costs the same as a college education, but nobody is complaining about their crippling car debt on a nebraskan meat puppet forum.

thats actually a big deal and your first real career milestone as an engineer. it means you are smart enough to get paid for being smart.

you guys are only doing PAID internships, right? RIGHT?

>ITT: people who have never been in the military or received any kind of infantry training.

the primary interest the military has in powered exoskeletons is not to field and army invincible juggernaughts. its to develop a squad supporting heavy weapons platform and/or other squad support equipment (radios, CBR gear, anti-armor weaponry, etc).

currently, weapons like the 240B, Mk 19, and M2 require teams of 2-3 people to wield and they are exclusively stationary weapons. if you could have one infantryman carry these weapons AND shoot them accurately while moving, that would be an incredible tactical advantage in combat. you wouldn't have a full platoon of them, just one per squad. most likely the grenadier position.
