OK, let's simplify this.

Astronaut A on Spaceship A, is floating in inter-galactic space, nothing for a gazillion light years around EXCEPT another astronaut, Astronaut B in Spaceship B. They simonize their clocks, then A goes blasting away as fast as his ship can go, which is fast enough for relativistic effects.

He flies away for a few years, his time, turns and comes back.

Does B's clock show more time has passed? If so, it seems there is a preferred frame of reference. Do the clocks show the same time has passed? Then what happened to those relativistic time dilation effects?

I tried to but flying in space is harder than I thought.

He did make the spacecraft plausible, though. He even got Charles Pellegrino to write up some report telling the 3D people how to make it properly scientifically-accurate.

We are all happy and hope SpaceX gets more of the sweet government money (because everyone else that would get it really sucks) but I don't think there is anything for us to discuss here. Consensus is boring.

Hey /sci/, how would you predict the thermodynamic properties of a 4-component mixture from binary data? My guess is to treat two binary mixtures as single chemicals, then combine them, basically forming a pseudo-binary mixture. This would reduce the number of chemicals from four to two. Would this be a valid strategy?
