I’m sorry to hear about the adversity you have experienced. Just know that many people who have experienced extreme adversity have gone on to accomplish great things. Helen Keller was both blind and deaf and still managed to obtain a bachelor's degree. Don’t write yourself off.

The main tenet of cognitive behavioural therapy is to challenge unhelpful and negative thoughts. Here is an examples based on your writing. Instead of thinking and saying “I was never taught anything” which is clearly false from an objective perspective, think “well, at least I was taught to read and write fluently” which you obviously were. I have met people who cannot do either of these things. This leads me to my next suggestion. Keep a gratitude journal. Pick three things everyday that you are grateful for and write them down. I know this sounds stupid but this is supported by strong empirical evidence in the (legitimate) field of positive psychology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gratitude_journal))
Still typing, bear with me.
