>Not really. Pure, natural tobacco is still carcinogenic
Wrong.
Tobacco smoke itself has never been proven to be carcinogenic, which is why it fails to induce cancer in any experimental study at rates above control in any species tested. The case that it is carcinogenic rests on non-randomized epidemiological studies. Because tobacco fails to induce cancer, researchers have to point to specific ingredients in it (straw man), as the proposed agents. However, this is a dishonest argument as say the benzopyrenes are found in greater quantities in seared meats, and trace heavy metals are found in all soil grown plants, at similar or greater levels. There also are anticarcinogenic constituents such as polyphenols and other antioxidants, which mitigate any potentials carcninogens. Smokers have lower levels of IGF-1, a marker associated with cancer in old age.

>No statistically significant increase in the incidence of malignant lung tumors was seen in either species as a result of smoke exposure, a finding that does not agree with the results of epidemiological studies in humans. Possible reasons for this lack of correlation are given.

There is no hard evidence to show that smoking tobacco induces cancer. Only epidemiological studies, asserting causation from a correlation established with dubious design that seldom corrects for other lifestyle factors (eg diet, exercise, work place and occupational hazard) and inherently biased sampling techniques (eg self-selected participation, cohorts) exist.

Tobacco is harmless in the first place.
In fact, I'd make the argument that tobacco is acutely better for the lungs for evolutionary mechanisms against a sudden introduction of moisture (and withdrawal assuming the hygroscopic PG/VG has not fully captured) in vast quantities, has yet to develop. This overwhelms the lung and causes scar tissue to develop in response. This is why many vapers have a chronic cough and cannot handle cigarettes any more after vaping.

Blood pressure: Tobacco smoking causes a paradoxical fall in blood pressure to fall in many individuals owing to nitric oxide modulation actions independent of nicotine. Moreover, heavy smokers have a mild level of MAO inhibition from the constituents of tobacco smoke which causes norepinephrine to be partially displaced with octopamine, likewise precipitating hypotension to some extent. Indeed, physicians of the past were perplexed when smokers presented LOWER blood pressure than even their non-smoking patients.

As for the migraine relief: Tobacco contains significant amounts of the antioxidant and antimigraine agent Coenzyme Q10, which alleviates or entirely abolishes migraines and headaches in many individuals both as an prophylactic and abortive agent.
