Is there any gene responsible for like growing your hands or legs? xD it sounds stupid but how does your body know to grow limbs?

Hey /sci/, so why are some objects heavier than others? Like, more atoms in a smaller space? I remember my teacher saying something like in a dm^3 there are always the same amount of atoms tho..

Why are there laws/rules of nature/physics that the universe must abide to?

how do they know there liquid water miles within a moon's crust, if, you know, weve never actually been there
