>t. has no evidence, everything he can quickly find online points to the exact opposite, but to be cool and contratian on an anonymous, taiwanese cooking forum, he just drops all form of scrutiny in the hopes no one will find out and posts his shitty opinion anyway.

You want to tell me you’re paying a company so it might sell your work while it provides no contribution to the process whatsoever? And this only works because you’re simping for said company by providing free peer review and paying 40 bucks to read a publication it got paid to own?
In the times of a world wide web existing that provides a buttload of alternatives that do the same thing for free and have the same quality if you’d do that work there instead? How can you call yourself a scientist...?

Consider the following: The sun releases a photon into an empty direction of space. The probability amplitude of the photon shapes a cone and is almost certainly inside, the cone intersects no body.
Let’s assume the photon doesn’t interact with any random particle in the way.
What happens to it? Does it propagate into the void, will it increase its angular uncertainty until it hits something?
What about the sun in the meantime? Does it lose the energy of the photon? Will it be in a superposition and the photon bounces back and retroactively will not be released?
