I need to work out the ratio of 380 ppm to 1750 ppb to two significant figures.

Is the answer 220 or am I totally retarded?

You must be carrying an EM field around with you for some reason. Some animals (electric eels) can do this, and that condition is far from unheard of in people, so maybe you have a strange genetic disorder.

Hey /sci/ when you die, do the bacteria living in your body just die with you or do they contribute to decomposition?

Does /sci/ think these exist? If man-like apes lived around the world, could they combine animal instincts with human-like intelligence to hide from us? Could a sustainable population of large hominids exist in the mountains of Tibet or the forests of Washington State? Would there be enough food?

It never will be unless we have a reason to travel somewhere often. Like taking off from the Mars International Spaceport to visit Earth relatives for Christmas.

If you asked me 100 years ago the same question about airtravel I would of said the same thing. As soon as enough people want to or need to do it, we will find a way.
