Ugh nevermind it has just come to my attention that the trust of the AJ10-137 is 98 kN. For reference one Merlin has a sea level thrust of 850 kN
Damn

Why did it take 3 days to reach the moon? Considering it is ~384,000 km away and the spacecraft would have to reach escape velocity which is ~40,000 km/h to reach the lunar orbit it should have taken only around 10 hours.

Why are its RCS quads... trikes? With three 120 degree facing thrusters you can't untangle your axes and make them linearly independent, and if you fire two to cancel out and move o ln one axis you're gonna have hella cosine losses. What gives?

It's pretty impressive how they managed
to come up with such complex technology
in the 60's and actually keep the flight crews alive
