hello /sci/
I'm wondering if it is hypoteticly possible to remove chlorohyxedine from medical spiritouse that contains 96% of alcohol and 0.5% of chlorohyxedine
in solution with water it decomposes by 70 *C to very dangerous Cl- gas and NOx, so destilation in primitive way is rather non proper way
info about chlorohyxedine http://toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/sis/search2/f?./temp/~Z3H2vq:1
reaction with EDTA http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19026886

EDTA seems to be good, but in described reaction it wasn't melted with alcoholic solution of chlorohyxedine, so the question is how it can possibly work with it
