Let's say someone told you that our entire planet is constantly being scanned by something that is recording the positions of all particles on our planet, and that it's happening right now, even.

What mechanisms could you imagine, by which this could be occurring? Assume all atoms are being observed, even down to the core of the planet.

Is there a way you could tell? How could you test this, or discover this "scanning" ?
