It actually does go faster, but humans can't observe it going any faster than C.

Motion does not need to be relative to anything. Relativity is a fallacy. A moving isolated object in empty space is moving; nothing more to it.

The answer may lie in the reason people are compelled to post frog memes.

Switch to history, seriously. You'll have many more career opportunities going for a humanities degree than a STEM degree. Don't listen to the memes.

If we had perfect information on the state of the universe at any given time, would we be able to tell how the wave function of any particle would collapse, without making any observations?
Would then any room for probabilistic interpretations of physics be left at all?

This whole idea of a simulated world is idiotic. We don't live in a computer sumulation. I have another idea. What if the universe was created suddenly because we exist within a pocket dimension? The random introduction of unstable mass would only be explained by the introduction of it into this system from another one. Secondly, "dark force," the force that pushes apart the know universe and creates expansion, would create some reletivitistic time dialation. Depending on the degree to which this is true, time would move much faster on a planet than in the center of the universe. If this is indeed a pocket dimension, this dimension would move faster than the normal universe. This supports all similarities to Rick Sanchez' car battery from Rick and Morty. Spontaneous generation and the frequent idea that life was started by another organism further points to this theory, as it is identical to what Rick did. Being technologically advanced enough to construct pocket universes includes more technology that would seem like magic to smaller, more primitive societies. When technology is discovered, the "miracles" would logically dissappear because the pocket dimension inhabitants would be wiser and reject the idea of a god with machinery.
