Searching for meaning is just a HUMAN trait, trying to fit everything into one big picture.
This is a build in instinct that you have.

Then you would ask what is it to be human and why do we have this instinct, surely there has to be reason for it.
And yes there is... it's just EVOLUTION. This is one of the things that makes you wanna live longer.. it's a positive trait. You'll have to live long enough to mate and have an offspring.

We could go a long way explaining what evolution is an how it was caused, but I prefer the short way:
MEANING -> HUMAN -> EVOLUTION -> LIFE -> BASIC ELEMENTS -> QUANTUM PROBABILITY -> THE BIG BANG

I've told you where the answer lies, but not what it really is. Neither I nor anyone can give you the answer, but based on the information we have about the universe so far, a good guess would be that there is no meaning at all or if there is one we're just an intermediate step in the big process.

My grades are generally horrible though I'm definitely one of the smartest people at my school.
There are those who are better at math than I and those are better chess players but as far as true intelligence, I'm definitely up there in my class though definitely not the smartest.
Whenever I meet someone who may be smarter than I am... I just play it cool and act like Iceman. I basically just lay back and talk rapid fire about a bunch of subjects that interest them with them. Because I'm a pretty knowledgeable person, I'm usually able to hold my own for a while until we come to something that I know a ton about. Then I just latch onto that and always steer the conversation around it and blow their mind.
They always leave thinking that I'm a fucking god.
