Why do electrons spin indefinitely without any energy provided from outside? Shouldn't they eventually stop? Doesn't it violate laws of physics or something?

Sum of 1/n^2 is 2, and if we add terms of the series we get closer and closer to the actual value of 2. So if 1+2+...=-1/12 when we'll keep adding this series term by term will the sums eventually drop and approach -1/12?

I have a question about 0.999...=1
Are they exactly equal and are just different decimal representations of the same number or do they differ by infinitesimal constant and would be different numbers in the set of hyperreals?
