Racists want affirmative action to continue, for them it's a massive propoganda coup.

The truth is affirmative action is illogical and most people see that, the only reason they don't vote against it is because they either view it as irrelevant or they are apprehensive concerning the number of racists foaming at the mouth over affirmative action. In fact, I view it much the same way, but that's not going to stop me criticising it.

Ideally the middle and working class should unite against the corporatist banksters (6 figure income earning surgeons and technical consultants aren't exactly evil capitalists yet they are hated far more than figures like George Soros by the left) with the aim of helping the working class to become middle class too and removing the corporate privileges, tax codes and loopholes that prevent the middle class from competing with corporate board members, so naturally this is what the corporatists fear most and the idea of dragging the middle class down is just as appealing to them as creating divisions between the 2.

Racial disparity is a problem but we are not races, we are individuals, the solution therefore is obviously to help disadvantaged individuals, in this case by giving them the help they need to qualify for scholarships, racial disparity will decrease since those races have more disadvantaged individuals and it will be more effective since resources are not wasted on individuals of that race who are not disadvantaged. However handing out scholarships to people based on race disadvantages other people thereby creating divisions and fostering the belief among the poor that increasing the power of the state is not the cause of their poverty but the only way out of poverty, it is preferable politically so these laws slip through the government process easily and are only challenged by grass roots action.
