>Space and TIme are the same thing
>Matter is literally bending space and time just by existing
>Gravity slows down the flow of time

This never ceases to blow my mind.

Quick question. How would I do...

"the amount of rice produced by China in 2007 (190 million metric tons) was ___ percent greater than the amount of rice produced by India in 2007 (127 million metric tons.)"

No, i'm not underage, just HORRIBLE at math. I'm not looking for an answer, just the formula I guess. Do I need to find absolute change or something?

Hey guys, I was hoping to get some help on a math problem. It says...

"At room temp., a 0.1 cubic centiment sample of plutonium weights 1.98 grams. What is its density? Will it float in water?"

I'm horrible at math, and this seems more like science to me anyways, so I'm not sure why the hell it's in my math book. Any help would be appreciated.

WHY ??
Is how even relevant if we don't know why ... ??

this is dual-thread cuz I don't expect many answers ...

Other part is brutal , relevant quotes which still have value even w/o context ...

Also NOT SCIENCE HURRDURR ...philosophy is the root of science ... at least logic ... but still philosophy is relevant... by default ..

also It would be legitimate break from religion/science threads :)

Whoops, should be multiplication, not subtraction.

How many cubic inches are there in 2.3 cubic yards?

Could someone help me with this question please?

Hey, can someone tell me if I'm right on these problems? I'm retarded when it comes to math and want to make sure they are right.

Rules say "choose the first set in the list natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and real numbers that describe the following numbers."

14. -45 (i put integer)
16. -5/2 (i put rational)
18. 0 (whole)
20. √8 (i have no clue)
22. √98 (still no clue)
24. 123/456 (put rational)
26. -145.01 (put interger)
28. 13,579,023 (put natural)

any help would be greatly appreciated!
