I contribute a lot to chemistry topics around here, Statistics help, /sci/... I don't know what the fuck I am supposed to do with this... It says: For t-Student distribution, find k such that P(k<T<3.135)=0.0975

What does it mean? I don't know how to get the degrees of freedom...

Suppose that P(x)=a0 + a1*x + a2*x^2 + ... + ak*x^k . For any natural number n, note that

|P(n)| <= |a0| + |a1|n + |a2|n^2 + ... |ak|n^k < (|a0|+|a1|+...|ak|)n^k,
so that
|P(n)|^1/n < ((|a0|+|a1|+...|ak|)nk )^1/n = (|a0|+...+|ak|)^1/n n^k/n.

This is an upper bound. How could I find a lower bound for P?

/sci/ i would like to share a story with you.

==What I dreamed during the night==
blah blah... I walked into a room to find a man holding a cylindrical object. We exchanged conversion and ended with me taking the object and stabbing the bottom of my heel with it which resulted in pain and 2 wound holes...blah blah

==What happened when I woke up==
I woke up with the feeling that I had hurt my foot. I went to look down at it and it was bloody and there were 2 puncture holes, one on the left side of the heel and 1 going straight up the bottom of the heal just like in the dream. Now I had already known what caused the actual wounds, my dog. From time to time he tends to bite me in the middle of the night and I'm usually not aware of them until i wake up. Tonight's bite was different though, I dreamed of the wound occurring in a different manner though.

My question to /sci/:
Was I:
a)Dreaming out the event as it occurred in real time and they both were timed perfectly (basically saying i had known what was going to happen and i dreamed it as it happened in real time)
b)Dreamed of the future attack before it happened
c)Dreamed of it after the event had occurred without actually seeing/being awake during the attack


Also while we're at it discuss interesting dream stuff.
