Historically it was marginalized people who left to colonize distant shores. Land is power and if you can move to a new land and own land you can gain a say in government leading to greater acceptance of your people. This is how Italians, Irish etc became respectable in the USA; They basically own everything in Boston and New Jersey and hence basically run the local government there. If you stop reading /pol/ you'll realized that whites are still the most privileged group on the planet and a privileged group has no reason to leave their lands. Do you really think some middle class white guy in the suburbs with a cushy city job is gonna throw away everything to move to some barren hazardous rock? Third worlders are also cheap labor so consequently if there is a Mars colony you'll actually see a lot of poor minorities moving there to make a living mining and escape racism
