yeah I reckon I'm smarter but I don't wanna get tested because I don't wanna find out I'm actually a brainlet

i am a 19 year old male anon and i have a lot of interest in physics. i have chosen astrophysics as my future career and i am studying in the first year for a physics major degree.
i have read in news about a teenager a year younger than me who received royal fellowship for his research paper and received praises from scientists as i have read in the news article. i wish to do the same. i am a bit confident that i can do it since i am a few steps ahead into astrophysics by reading popular science books such and stephen hawking's theory of everything and i have read brief history of time halfway yet. i think i have a fair logical understanding and i have the required scientific mindset for this career, i have made numerous theories of my own by now out of which some are convincing and some are purely theoretical and illogical. i wish to secure my career a bit soon.
please help me to know how to do it.

When science is about a bunch of idealistic NEET aristocrats dicking around, you get unbiased progress.

When science is people's day job and getting results means getting published, which you need to do to keep your job, you get p-hacking and "lost" data. The people who are willing to cheat to get published outcompete those who stick to the method. It's really just a matter of incentives and good old natural selection.

I'm sorta similar, I have no problems socializing (really) I just don't want to go out and try and put in effort to maintain a relationship and have to care what people think. So I just avoid people mostly. I'm a special kind of lazy.
