I can into math, but not into nonsense.
See my other post:

This makes sense.
I have an infinite thread. It is a concept.
Every 1 meter, it is cut. An infinite series of 1 meter bits of thread. It is a concept.
We put these bits together. I have the original thread.
What about this doesn't work?
It's 1/inf*inf = 1.
If I pick a bit of thread at random, each bit has 1/inf probability that I pick it, and it sums up to 1. It doesn't work if 1/inf = 0. So 1/inf = infinitesimal. That 1/x converges to 0 is another matter.

Hey guys,

Me being the irresponsible youth that I am spent most of the leftover loan money that was supposed to go to text books on skydiving. So now I'm looking around for a torrent to the following textbook:

Discrete and Combinatorial Mathematics - An Applied Introduction 5E R. Grimaldi

Does anyone happen to have one handy?

hey evolutionists,

If evolution is real then why don't humans have tails yet?

I had a crazy little idea awhile ago. I was thinking about space shuttles and how they had to use rocket fuel to propel the ship into space. Kinda random to just think about all of a sudden I know, but i started to wonder about the costs of the rocket fuel in question, and made me wonder about what potential alternatives we could use to propel said ship.

I then thought....fucking railgun, although not so much a railgun than a rail cannon. Could it be possible that we could launch a space shuttle into space using a railcannon, assuming that the magnets dont tear the shuttle apart in the first place and that the speeds needed to get the shuttle moving wouldnt tear it it apart(although im sure the latter isnt a problem considering how fast they can go in the first place)?

If its not possible, would it instead be possible to at least use a railcannon to get the shuttle a good distance up into the air, in which then it would use rocket fuel to propel itself further? Or would it be waste of money to even invest in such an idea in a first place?

Never posted on this board, but I need help.

I am given the wavelength of a wave, which is 1.7 x 10^-7 meters. I am asked to find the frequency. How do I calculate this?

Pic unrelated.
