Most CT scans produce less than 7.5 mSv, yes. Scans like the chest/abdominal, anything to do with the chest, abdomen, or pelvis are typically at 7.5 mSv or above, with a few exceptions. A single head CT scan is almost always going to be under 3 mSv, typically about 2-2.5 mSv. They can even be as low as .5-1.5 mSv
