everybody is familiar with analytic continuation, but let me note that the phenomena of summing divergent series is more general than that. Let X be the space of sequences of complex numbers which converge to some finite value. Then there is a linear map L:X->C which maps a sequence to its limit. There exist spaces Y of sequences which properly contain X such that L extends to a linear map Y->C, thereby extending limits to sequences that don't have limits. I think this is called a "summability method." We can then apply such an extended map to the partial sums of a divergent series and potential obtain a finite value.

In this way, summing divergent series isn't so different from summing convergent ones, we've just extended it. Thus the summation symbol is still arguably appropriate.

After few generations you will have highly intelligent people in the central region which will be the people who do sciences and politics.

An Antarctic fur seal has been caught trying to have sex with a king penguin.

De Bruyn and a colleague were on Trypot beach at Marion Island to study elephant seals when they noticed a young, adult male Antarctic fur seal, in good condition, attempting to copulate with an adult king penguin of unknown sex.
The 100kg seal first subdued the 15kg penguin by lying on it.
The penguin flapped its flippers and attempted to stand and escape - but to no avail.

The seal then alternated between resting on the penguin, and thrusting its pelvis, trying to insert itself, unsuccessfully.
After 45 minutes the seal gave up, swam into the water and then completely ignored the bird it had just assaulted, the scientists report.
