Hello /sci/!

Is there any software out there that lets you design and test electrical circuits on a circuitboard?

Sort of like a little sandbox for tinkering where you can solder and route circuits and cells freely as if you were doing them in real life but without the hassle of doing it in real life?

If w is a solution to x^9=1

Show that 1+w+w^2+w^3+w^4+w^5+w^6+w^7+w^8=0

How am I supposed to show that? As far as I can see even with the imaginary answers that can be solved for using De Moivre's Theorem don't fit this. Is there something I am missing?
