Artemis I is scheduled to launch in 6 days, weather permitting. I mean it's a shitshow of a program but still a massive undertaking. NASA will probably also move forward with the lunar gateway even though that's an even worse idea than SLS and I tried to tell them they should can it and instead just build a permanent outpost on the moon

I'm almost 30 - can I reasonable expect that we will terraform Mars in my lifetime? What about flying cars?

We are not going to leave this shithole for another 10-20 years at least , we don't have the Tech yet to reach mars in less than 3 months before astronauts bodies are fucked , and even if somehow we can reach Mars in 3 months, we go there and then what? make a colony or come back ? we don't have the tech for a mars colony either. Mars by 2024 is just a dream.
