will an infimum always exist if there is a lower bound? If it can be proven that a set has some lower bound, will it always have an infimum, if so how do you prove it? Sorry if this is a stupid question but i can't seem to find out how to prove this.

Let's start a largest number in 100 chars thread, but with a little twist.

You are only given a set of natural numbers, as defined by Peano's axioms. One function is a given, s(n) which is a successor function. Every new function used in a post has to be defined, or use a definition from one of the posts above it.

Of course, it will be most natural to first define addition, multiplication and exponentiation, but I'll leave the rest of the things for you.

Starting with a really small number:

My fat fuck father just started talking all the time about how gluten is unhealthy and how it's used as a glue and how he's started losing weight and doesn't wanna shut up.

Now that my life story is over, is there really any substance in the claim that gluten causes weight gain? He seems to be fucking keen on it.
